all this suspense is killing me. seriously. I get goosebumps thinking that I have to go through something like that. Much more so because I have never ever been promised anything and I've willingly agreed to be exploited. Sigh.
and yes, Anastasia knows better than anyone (maybe in the world, who else do you know had to write one's dissertation over three times? -- though that's another matter, not related to employment in academia, but definitely related to politics).
