So can anyone speculate why men are so difficult when they are sick?
And for the record, I know I'm perpetuating vast generalizations about an entire segment of the population, but given that almost all (if not all) of my commenting-readers are women, I'm okay with that.

hmm... my husband is a real saint when it comes to illness, really, he is (he was able to bear an inflamed appendix until it started to heal by itself -- he did end up having surgery a week later, but it was, essentially , elective surgery), but I think that it's the only moment that men let their great (and very real) fragility show.
I have little patience with men who are crybabies when sick, so I'm very happy that 1) K hardly ever gets sick; 2) he's pretty good about it when he is.
I hope things get better at your house soon -- having to handle three sick men is a huge deal, I know!
No comment, just my complete understanding. :P
Because we don't give birth and can't understand the concept of pain. :p
Solon, you know me well enough to know I don't believe that. :P But thanks for proving me wrong about all my commenting-readers being women!
Hahahahahaha
