Packing

Packing for 2 adults, 1 pre-schooler, and 1 infant is reason enough never to leave the house!

Winter packing, my friend, remember... it's the winter that makes it that much harder with the bulkier clothing and the simple need for more clothes.

IMHO Summer packing is way easier. I think you'll remember that I said that next summer ;-).

An infant does make packing harder, though, I hear ya (nothing can be forgotten).

Yes. I do it constantly (minus one of the kids) and it takes FOREVER.

It's not just the clothes, as you ladies well know. It's planning for every contingency! I've got my manual breast pump, breast shields, and 2 bottles in the suitcase (in the hopes that C and I can get out on our own). And I've got clothes for 4 people, Wild Man's essential 4 toys, and a few toys for Bear. Thank goodness we're visiting family, and I'll be able to do laundry. I only packed 5 outfits for Wild Man and 8 for Bear (who still could go through at least 3 in a day thanks to spit up and drool). They'll just have to wear the same clothes over again. And now we have to pack 2 car seats!

We're planning a trip to Mexico over the summer and one to Italy for next December. I can't even imagine what we'll have to pack for those trips.

Have a great time! And try not to stress--remember, you're returning to the land of Target being moments away for unexpected contingencies. In my opinion, that's what makes packing for international travel more difficult no matter the season.
