My Wild Man . . .

. . . is rapidly becoming a little boy. Everyday he looks more and more like a little boy. Here are some recent pictures of him, showing just how much of a little boy he is.

Here is he demonstrating his independent streak on two recent trips to the park.

And, he is clearly his father's son as he demonstrates his profound love for ice cream.

*Keeping with my promise to C I only left these photos that showed Wild Man's face up for a few days.

Gosh, he looks so much bigger already! And he's getting more hair. I hope these are up long enough for me to show Eliza :)

He is, indeed, getting more hair, Academama. And it is getting its reddish tint back, which the summer sun of Southwest College Town had bleached. I think Eliza will have plenty of time to see these since I'll probably leave them up for a few days.

How can all of this growing up be so sad and so great at the same time?!? It's wild to catch glimpses of what our babies may look like when they're grown :)

Wow! He looks so much like a boy now, and not much like the toddler I last saw. THanks for sharing the pics with us : )

He does look older! But you know what? If you still have a dimple for an elbow and a bracelet for your wrist, then you're not quite 'all growed up' just yet. Luke still has dimples instead of knuckles, so even though he turned four today I can still think of him as my baby.

Wow, he's a big boy, almost, not a little one, that's for sure!

And I'm so thrilled I didn't miss these! He is very very cute too!

Jennie, I think it goes without saying that they will always be our babies--even when they're 16 and don't want anything to do with us! Tell Luke happy birthday for us.
