Our kitchen is almost done! Here are some shots of our new cabinets. Pay particular attention to our lovely wooden counter tops! We haven't decided what kind of material we want to use, and C and I are currently debating having them installed versus installing them ourselves. Can you guess which method I'm advocating?

I love your kitchen, particularly the natural colored cabinets. Are you redoing the backsplash too? I hope you can decide on the the countertops soon. Are the wooden ones what you had before or are they part of the lower cabinets?
We will likely be doing something with the backsplash, Lilian, but we don't know what yet. And the wooden countertops are our make-shift countertops that C installed once he finished putting in the new cabinets. We will probably go with a laminate countertop--and if I have my way, we will have them installed!
I'm enjoying the improvements to the kitchen a lot, especially as I got a whole lot more storage space out of it. Prior to the renovations, the stove was in the corner, and the cabinets to the right of the stove didn't exist. I had no counter space and very little storage space.
Counter space is crucial! I hope you get your way for installing them!
Ooooo, love the maple! These look great. I remember the before pictures and it is amazing how much more storage space you have now.
